Connect FinanOne to Claude
Use Claude on the web, desktop or mobile to ask about and work with your organization's FinanOne data, within exactly what your account is allowed to access.
How to connect
- In Claude, open Settings → Connectors. Search for “FinanOne”, or add a custom connector with the URL
https://app.finan.one/api/v0/mcp. Click Connect. - Sign in to your FinanOne account.
- On the consent screen, choose:
- View data: always granted, so Claude can read the data you are allowed to see.
- Create and write data: off by default. Tick it only if you want Claude to create drafts and send requests on your behalf.
- Connection duration: 30 days, 90 days or 1 year.
- The organization Claude works with. If you belong to several and skip this, you can ask Claude to pick one later.
- Click Allow. You return to Claude and FinanOne is ready to use.
What Claude can use also depends on which features your organization has turned on and on your role in it.
What Claude can do
- Show the status of your e-invoice, personal Zalo and email connections, with a link that opens the right FinanOne page for you to connect. For banks, Claude gives you a link to the account-linking page.
- Search and view FinanOne data within your permissions.
- With “Create and write data” on: create tasks, draft orders, draft payment requests and spending-limit requests, and submit forms.
For draft orders, spending-limit requests and form submissions, FinanOne returns a preview so Claude can check with you before creating them. Spending-limit requests go for approval, and a submitted form runs the workflow your organization set up for it.
What Claude does not do
- There are no tools to transfer money, approve payments, or delete or publish data. Approvals and payments always happen in FinanOne.
- It never takes passwords, OTP codes or bank login QR codes in the chat. Those steps always open a FinanOne page for you to complete.
- It does not read payslips, payroll, base salaries, or the bank accounts of customers and suppliers.
- When Claude views records, national ID and account numbers show only the last 4 digits, and dates of birth are hidden.
Permissions and security
- Claude sees only what your FinanOne account is allowed to see. If you leave an organization, Claude loses access to it immediately.
- Claude can create or write data only if you ticked “Create and write data” when connecting.
- The connection expires automatically after the duration you chose.
- A “Connected apps” section in FinanOne Settings, to view and revoke connections, is coming soon.
What data is sent to Claude and what FinanOne keeps: see Privacy when using FinanOne with Claude.
Disconnect
In Claude, open Settings → Connectors, select FinanOne and disconnect. On the FinanOne side, the connection expires after the duration you chose; revoking it from FinanOne Settings is coming soon. Need help: [email protected].
